I am a freethinker, a cultured man who never stops learning, educating himself, and sharing what he knows with those eager to learn. I do not believe in any form of totalitarianism—that invention of man designed to dominate other men through politics and religion—yet I hold my own faith and respect the beliefs of others.
As an artist, I have unknown muses—those who do not yet know me—and then there are the “misguided” muses: women whose beauty belies their profession, leading them to remain—as in this instance—political representatives within Colombian democracy, despite possessing the beauty and essence to be something else, such as models.
This series of designer fabrics was created with the misguided inspiration of a misguided—yet highly rewarding—muse: Maria Fernanda Cabal.
She is a woman whom I still consider beautiful at sixty; she is intelligent and possesses a strong character—she is simply sexy—qualities that stand apart from her profession, which, in my humble opinion, does not truly allow her beauty to shine to its full potential.
